Description

A grey or greyish white moth. Central cross band on forewing blackish in leading half usually pale in trailing half. The central band is usually incomplete appearing as a dark-coloured patch at the costal edge of each forewing. There is also a dark-coloured basal patch and a broken line around the peripheral edge of the forewing.

Life Cycle

Continuously-brooded during the summer months April - September, when adults and larvae can be found .The larvae feed on a range of cruciferous plants such as Garlic Mustard

 

Habitat

The larvae feed on a range of cruciferous plants.
