Description	This species is sexually dimorphic, male / female differences the males being more brightly coloured and patterned than the females. ts body and forewings are typically reddish brown, tan, or dark green in color and females have a dark spot in the center of each forewing. Like some other members of the Galleriinae, the larvae feed on the comb inside bee and wasp nests.
