Classification Family: AKA Rilaena triangularis

Length .Male 4-6 mm, Female 4-8.5 mm

Phenology Spring and summer. Sometimes called the Spring Harvestman as it is usually the only adult harvestman to be found at this time of year

Identification It usually has a pale brown saddle but this is variable. Each eye is surrounded by a ring of 7-10 pale pointed tubercles. It has a trident with a single small tubercle in the middle of a dark band.

Habitat Found on low vegetation in hedgerows and woodland
