Wall Lettuce is a short tallish, hairless perrenial , somtime tinged purple but delicate and slender Dandelion-type flower found near walls, amongst rocks and on woodland edges, normally on lime. Leaves are pinately lobed, the end lobe large, triangular and sharply cut, clasping the stem with rounded toothed lobes.The flower heads 7 - 10 mm are small and consist of usually 5 broad, yellow 'florets' that have the appearance to me of petals. In flower from J une - September.
