Widespread insectivorous plant of boggy heaths and moors. Rosette of reddish, rounded leaves are covered with long sticky hairs which trap insects; curl inwards to digest victims.Leaf blades near-circular, not longer than broad. Flower-stem much longer than leaves, far more so than in other sundews. Flowers have 5-8 petals.Flower diameter c 3-6 mm, leaf blade c 5-10 mm diameter.Upright spike of white flowers appear June to August. Height up to 20cm
