Description

Flowerhead diameter c 6 mm: The smallest and commonest of the three yellow-flowered clover-like plants. .( Black Meick , Hop Trerfoil) Leaves in threes, leaflets very slightly notched, not pointed, the middle one longer-stalked. Flowers yellow, 3-15 in the head; April-October. Pods straight, covered by dead brown flowers.

Habitat

Frequent on roadsides, waste ground and as a garden weed.
