Creeping perennial of upland moors. Scattered in N England and locally common in parts of Scotland. Leaves are ovate and pointed with three main veins either side of midrib. Four white bracts topped by dark umbel of flowers, appear . Heaths Moors not on lime. June to August. Fruit red. Height up to 15cm
