Identification A medium sized bug which has an overll Black or Black and yellow presentation The dorsal surface is covered in scale-like gold or silver hairs. Legs - tibiae bear strong black spines.

Similar Species . P. unifasciatus in this species the pronotum, scutellum and corium are wholly dark and with orange markings on the cuneus. The tibiae have broad pale bands.
