The overall appearance of this squashbug is with a short and broad pronotum lacking spines Cf ( A.waltii)

It has pale sides to the prontal .
There is a noticable pale Tip to the Scutellum (Shield)
The Antennal segment appearances - 1st antennal segment is rather broad, wider than 4th.

Life Cycle

This Squashbug is is frequent on ground where is feeds on plants in the Pea family Fabaceae , particularly Black Meddick Medicago lupulina

Nmphs present June-August. In the past , this specieswas scarce but is now reported across southern England and east Anglia,

Habitat
