Wing Length .Between 6.5 and 10 mm.

Phenology

March to November with population increasing during May, but has a main peak from July to September.

Identification

The broad yellow lunate markings on tergites 3 and 4 dont reach the outer edge of the tergite is a key differential feature in this species .

Life Cycle

Habitat

Arable fields, meadows, road verges, hedgerows, gardens, or anywhere with an open floristic habitat.
