Description

Turnstones can be seen creeping and fluttering over rocks, picking out food from under stones.When moving and d moves its head rhtymically back and forward.

Insects , Molluscs and Crustaceans ( Eg Sandhoppers on the shoreline )

When does it Breed ?

May to July , 4 eggs, Incubation 22 - 23 days , young fledging at 19- 21 days. Nests on the ground.
